At Quiet Company, we are committed to providing products of the highest quality. Our returns policy is designed to address issues with defective products while complying with our legal obligations under UK consumer law. Returns for Defective or Damaged Products

 

We will always offer a full refund or replacement for any product that is faulty, arrives damaged, or is not the item you ordered. Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are fully supported.

What to do if your item is defective:

  1. Contact Us Promptly: Please email us at hello@quietcompany.uk within 30 days of receiving your order.

  2. Provide Details: In your email, please include your full name, order number, and a clear description of the fault. Crucially, please attach clear photos of the defect or damage. This allows us to assess the issue and resolve it quickly.

  3. Resolution: Once we confirm the defect, we will offer you the choice of a full refund (including any original shipping costs) or a free replacement. We will also cover the cost of returning the defective item to us.

4. Other Returns (Your Statutory Right to Cancel)

 

In line with The Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have a statutory right to cancel your order and return a product within 14 days of receiving it, even if it is not faulty.

However, for us to accept a return under this right, the following strict conditions must be met:

  • The journal must be in absolutely new, unused, and unblemished condition.

  • It must be returned in its original packaging and in a perfect, re-saleable state.

  • As a paper product, we cannot accept a return if the journal shows any sign of use whatsoever, including being opened flat, creased, or written in.

Process for Statutory Returns:

  1. Notification: You must inform us of your decision to cancel your order by emailing hello@quietcompany.uk within 14 days of receiving your item.

  2. Return Shipping: You, the customer, are responsible for the full cost of return postage. We do not provide pre-paid labels for these returns.

  3. Secure Postage: You must package the item securely to prevent damage. We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured shipping service, as we are not liable for items lost or damaged during their return transit.

  4. Inspection and Refund: Once we receive the item and confirm it meets the strict conditions outlined above, a refund for the product cost will be issued to your original payment method.
